David is a nurse entrepreneur with over 15 years of healthcare experience, with expertise in staffing challenges and vendor solutions. A former critical care nurse, he has worked with organizations of all sizes and populations to create innovative solutions that lead to better patient outcomes, and contribute to building a quality, patient-centered workforce. An advocate for advancing healthcare education, he was the first student to enroll in Empire State College’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program. He is a member of Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and is a graduate of Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses program.

With focuses on employment, privacy and security, intellectual property licensing, corporate and healthcare law, Tom Kernan is currently the Vice President of Strategic Planning and General Counsel with DAVIN Healthcare Solutions. A seasoned business attorney with over a decade of experience practicing law including time running his own private practice, Tom works with hospitals, care providers, and staffing vendors to maintain compliance and bridge the gap between state and federal policies and the needs of healthcare clients. A diehard Detroit Tigers baseball fan, he lives in Malta, NY with his wife, Renee, and two rambunctious sons.

J Edward "Jed” Potocar has over thirty years of experience in various leadership and strategic roles, most prominently in the healthcare sector. During his tenure, Jed oversaw a significant expansion of group purchasing programs for hospitals, non acute facilities, and physician groups, and has developed strategic consulting programs for healthcare organizations. As the lead on Client Relations and Advocacy with DAVIN, he provides expert consulting to our clients as a part of our MSP solutions program. He lives in Ballston Lake, New York with his wife Lisa, who is a published author and former educator. Jed and Lisa love to travel the world, hike and climb mountains, and go boating or fishing.

Dr. Robert Desiderio is an emergency medicine doctor with over twenty years of experience. He received his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and is the founder of The Lower Adirondack Wilderness Rescue Group. Dr. Desiderio supports the DAVIN Healthcare Solutions team by bringing medical and healthcare expertise to our services and client relations.

Mike spent the first twenty years of his career working in large software groups for fortune 100 corporations developing mission-critical process automation software for manufacturing. In 1999, he left the corporate world, founded his own software company, and began developing custom desktop software and web-based applications for a wide variety of clients. Each system Mike builds has a focus on security and usability. When he’s not writing code, he can be found in his garden, cooking, playing golf or riding his bicycle in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife Cheryl.

With previous professional experience in healthcare marketing, Allison utilizes her background in art and design to create unique and engaging marketing and visual strategies. As DAVIN's Creative Director, she implements and oversees all creative strategies for the brand across all departments. She also works closely with the software development team on system design, user experience, and client project management. When not in the office Allison enjoys perfecting her pie crust recipe, beating bad guys on her PS4, and collecting Batman comics.

With over 38 years of nursing experience, Debra has worked in acute care, community health, and research. She is currently the President/CEO of Nurses – Ready for the Next Step, a business launched in 2013 to help prepare nurses for success in the next step of their education and career. Dr. Wolff is the author of the soon to be released book, Advancing Your Nursing Degree: The Experienced Nurse's Guide to Returning to School, published by Springer Publishing. From 2011 – 2013, she was the Project Coordinator for the Future of Nursing – NYS Action Coalition. Debra and her husband, Patrick, who is a family practitioner, enjoy riding their tandem, traveling to Maine, and debating healthcare issues.

Christine is a graduate of Siena College and has over 15 years experience as a certified public accountant in the Capital District providing tax and accounting services to individuals, businesses, partnerships, estates, and trusts. As the lead for accounting and finance with DAVIN, Christine works closely with our Advisory Board and executive team on key strategic planning.

Lesley is an eLearning Designer and entrepreneur with over 12 years of professional experience in private and non-profit associations. She is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Advantedge Education, Inc., a continuing education business focused on delivering visually engaging online courses of exceptional quality. Lesley has extensive training in eLearning design. She graduated with honors in her Master of Science in Education program from The College of Saint Rose in New York and received her bachelor’s in psychology from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. She is also a National Scholar with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and Tory Burch Foundation program, and is a volunteer teacher with Junior Achievement.

Ann is a Registered Nurse with over 38 years experience in women’s health, gynecologic oncology, and education. She is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Advantedge Education, Inc., a continuing education business that delivers learning primarily to healthcare professionals and those interested in health and wellness. Ann has a BS in Nursing from Hartwick College and a MS in Nursing, with honors from The Sage Colleges in New York. She teaches online at Excelsior College, facilitates an ovarian cancer support group, and is actively involved in ANA-New York where she holds leadership positions and provides educational consultation.

Darrice's professional career spans 33 years in baccalaureate nursing education with 26 years as faculty in Regents College/Excelsior College School of Nursing. During her tenure at Excelsior, she co-led the development and implementation of the competency-based nursing program and the transition of curricula to an online learning platform.

Susan is a native to the capital district and graduate of Methodist University in North Carolina were she completed her undergrad in business. Susan spent the  early years of her career working within customer service as a lead trainer for Lexus Nexus Mathew Bender. During her tenure she has been a strong leader focusing on employee recruitment, engagement, training, coaching, and leadership. To stay current in workforce and HR best practices she obtained her certified staffing professional education through the American Staffing Association and member of SHRM. In addition to certifications Susan had been dedicated to life long learning by continuing on with her MBA at SUNY Empire College. When she is not working or at leaning conferences you can find she following her passions that includes spending quality time with her family and two certified therapy golden retrievers Maggie & Sully.

As a nurse owned and operated organization, DAVIN donates a generous percentage of profits to colleges local to our clients that fund scholarships, advanced technologies, and improved resources for organizations offering nursing education programs. Statistics show that BSN-prepared nurses contribute to better patient outcomes, and by putting money and resources back into nursing, we create a funnel effect of educating new nurses, hiring skilled employees, and taking care of our communities for the long term.
