Stat Staff recently participated in Making Strides Breast Cancer Walk in Albany. Because breast cancer awareness is very important to us as well as supporting the research that the American Cancer Society provides.
On October 21st, Stat Staff Professionals participated and sponsored the 23rd annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk in the Capital Region.
Stat Staff wanted to help give back to the local community and help support one of our nurses, who was diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
And we wanted to be there to support her in a special way, by not only participating but also sponsoring the event. I decided to spearhead this event because Jessica Sittner was one of my own nurses.
In my research over the summer in trying to find the best way to that, I found Making Strides event and decided that not only should we walk, but maybe we should also sponsor the event to go above and beyond.
Putting myself in Jessica’s shoes, I felt very supported for her to know that if anything like this happened to me or anything for our family that our CEO would be there for us.
