I think the best thing about Stat Staff is the opportunity to collaborate with so many unique talented creative individuals across departments. Every day we get a new set of challenges and opportunities. I learn something new every day.
I’ve been a member of the American Staffing Association, ASA, for about four years now. Our organization is also a member and we have many individuals within our company who are certified healthcare staffing professionals.
I also sit on the ASA health care section Council. For me being part of ASA is about helping my colleagues develop best practices, ensure compliance, and really raise the level of practice within our industry.
Stat Staff is proudly nurse owned and operated. At the core of our business is a mission of providing quality patient care at the bedside and this is instilled throughout our culture, it’s reflected in all of our actions.
We are not beholden to a hedge fund, we are not beholden to shareholders. We’re really in this business to deliver on that mission.
My name is Tom Kernan I serve as vice president and general counsel at Stat Staff Professionals. In this role, I work with our CEO on business development and strategic planning. I oversee corporate compliance initiatives. I work on policy development. A lot of hats, a lot of fun.
