StatStaffStrong RN of the Week: Moe Bitar, R.N.

Why did you go into nursing?
I was first introduced to nursing when I saw the amazing care my sister received as a leukemia cancer patient. I knew I wanted to do something in health care.

What is your favorite part of the nursing profession?
My favorite part of nursing is seeing and learning from all the strong people I am surrounded by. They are truly my second family.

What is your best piece of advice for new nurses?
My piece of advice for newer nurses would be not to be afraid of what they don’t know. We are lifelong learners.
