Security Policy
Security Policy
Effective July 1, 2020
This Security Policy describes our policies concerning the protection of customer information that we collect from our supplemental staffing and managed service provider (MSP) clients who utilize the Davin.DavinHealthcare.com domain (collectively referred to as our “Website”). Please read this policy carefully before submitting information over the internet.
Protecting Customer Information
The customer information you provide — including your organization’s credit card information — to create and access an account with us and to pay your invoices for supplemental staffing or MSP services is secured using industry-standard e-commence security technology such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology. We use this SSL technology to prevent your customer information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet. The encrypted credit card information is transmitted directly to our third-party credit card processor’s site and is not stored on our Website.
Unique E-Mail and Password Required for Account
When you request a user account, we establish a user account for you and assign you a temporary password. The first time you log in to this account you must change the temporary password to a unique password that meets the requirements set forth below.
We secure your customer information in the following manner:
We do not permit any e-mail address to access more than one Website account. When a new account is created, we require you to submit an e-mail address that is not associated with an existing Website account.
We cross check an e-mail address with a submitted password to validate access to any Website customer account.
We use two-factor authentication to verify your password from every location that you use to access our Website.
Your password and two-factor authentication automatically expire after 90 days. As such, you must change your password every 90 days.
We encourage you to use a strong password — that is to say, one that is not easily determinable. It must contain at least eight (8) characters and have all of the following characteristics: at least one (1) lowercase letter; at least one (1) uppercase letter; at least one (1) number; and at least one (1) special character. In the alternative, the password may consist of no less than sixteen (16) characters and contain any two of the above characteristics. For your security, it is of paramount importance that you not share your user name or password with anyone.
If you forget your password, click the “Forgot your password” link and then supply your e-mail address associated with the account. A message will be sent to your e-mail address with instructions on how to access your account and change your password.
Remember to Sign Out
To prevent unauthorized access to your account, it is important that you sign out of your account once you have (i) completed your transaction, (ii) completed managing your account, or (iii) decided to step away from your computer. Anyone with physical access to your computer after you have signed in but before you have signed out can access your account.
For your security, we strongly encourage you to take the following additional precautions:
Do not access your account over public wireless networks (i.e., use only known, secure networks);
Use only secure web browsers;
Employ up-to-date antivirus and anti-malware protection on your computer;
Ensure that your operating system is up-to-date; and
Notify us immediately if your credentials have been compromised in any way.
Protection Against Unauthorized Charges
Under federal law, a credit card issuer cannot hold you liable for charges in excess of $50.00 that result from the unauthorized use of your or your organization’s credit card. Exceptions apply, and you will have to comply with the rules of your credit card issuer, so please contact your credit card issuer for further details.
If a credit card or debit card issuer assesses you a fee because of the unauthorized user of your or your organization’s credit card or debit card on our site, Stat Staff Professionals, Inc. will reimburse you for such amount up to $50.00.
We do not guarantee the continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our Website because the operation of our Website may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. NO DATA TRANSMISSION OVER THE INTERNET CAN BE GUARANTEED TO BE 100% SECURE. BY USING OUR WEBSITE TO CREATE A USER ACCOUNT OR PAY AN INVOICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT WE MAKE NO SUCH GUARANTEE.
Changes to Security Policy
Davin Healthcare Workforce Solutions, Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this Security Policy at any time by posting the revised Security Policy on our Website. Any changes made to the Security Policy will apply prospectively only and will not affect information collected prior to the effective date of the amended Security Policy.
